Selection Process
There is no fee for the Autism Family Respite Weekends at the Kinark Outdoor Centre. The experience is funded through the Autism Spectrum Disorder Respite Services Fund of the Ontario Ministry of Child and Youth Services for the Central East Region. Due to staffing and facility limitations, there are not enough program participant positions for all interested families. All applications must be received by 5 p.m. February 24, 2012. Families are then selected to participate using a random lottery process. All applicants will be notified of their status by mail or e-mail on March 12, 2012.
